About Manila Angel Investors Network (MAIN)
Manila Angel Investors Network (MAIN) was founded in 2016 and is registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization. It is the largest committed private investor network in the Philippines, connecting individual angel investors with promising early-stage Filipino companies.
Beyond capital, MAIN provides mentorship, expertise support, and networking opportunities to the founders it backs. It invests at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages, and has backed early-stage companies including Kumu, Booky, and TANGGapp.
Investment Thesis
MAIN invests in scalable, technology-driven startups that have already demonstrated proven traction, deploying capital from its network of committed angel investors at the pre-seed through Series A stages. Founders pitch by submitting a deck directly to the network for review; individuals interested in joining as active investors apply separately. The organization positions itself as a connective layer between Philippine early-stage founders and a vetted pool of local angel capital, mentorship, and networking support.
