Edukasyon.ph is a Philippine education-technology platform founded in 2015 by Henry Motte-Muñoz, built to help Filipino students navigate one of the most consequential and confusing decisions in their lives: which senior high school track, college, or university program to pursue, and how to actually pay for it. The platform aggregates information on schools, degree programs, entrance requirements, and — notably — available scholarships, letting students search and filter by criteria like location, subject area, and associated institution rather than relying on scattered school websites and word of mouth.

Edukasyon.ph has since become widely described as the Philippines’ largest edtech startup, and it has raised capital across several rounds: a pre-Series A round backed by KSR Ventures and French Partners in 2018, an early-2019 investment from the Gobi-Core Philippine Fund, a Series A round in 2019 from a wider group of Asian and European investors including EduLab Capital Partners, Obunsha Ventures, Alternate Ventures, Foxmont Capital Partners, Lorinet Foundation, First Asia Venture Capital, and KSR Ventures, a 2020 Series A extension, and a 2022 bridge round backed by KSR Ventures, Lorinet Foundation, and new investor Bisk Ventures. Available tracking sources put its total disclosed funding at roughly $3.37 million.

In 2022, Edukasyon.ph spun off its live tutoring arm as a separate company, EDGE Tutor (see EDGE Tutor’s own entry in this directory), with founder Henry Motte-Muñoz taking on the CEO role at the new venture while Edukasyon.ph continued as the parent platform’s core college-search and scholarship-discovery product.
